That Antonio ‘Must be the First Name’ Gonzalez guy is out of his freakin’ mind…illegals should be able to vote? He’s gotta be kidding, except he’s not! His argument was unclear and incomplete, and he did not identify who these illegal residents are.
But that aside…if you are not a legal resident registered voter you have no rights and that includes not having the right to vote.
Having the sample ballot bar coded to be used as a mail-in ballot is one helluvah a good idea.
I think the guy who said most people get their news from the Net is wrong. I think most people still get their news from local TV. More people must be watching local news — and forgetting that it’s cheaper than syndicated or other forms of programming — there must be a reason why KCAL 9 is running so much news off CBS 2 to fill a lot of day and evening hours.
All in all a very interesting discussion with lots of good ideas thrown out amid a couple of really crummy ideas. But isn’t that was discussions are for?
Ron,
The crafting of the “Stateman Huizar” project continues. But the real story is how Councilman Huizar ignor a Public Records request from The Voice Newspaper, regarding the status of the CLARTS Fund.
I would not dignify a councilperson who ignors the Public Records Act, with an apperance, that was cherograph to enhance his public persona.
