”We got what we wanted on the RVs and campers. Who do we go after next? We can’t stop until this place is all cleansed. Wash away the scum. ALL of it.”
“Who cares? Villa-la-grossa is just as big a coward as Rosendahl. Maybe the Stakeholders are right – if these folks won’t leave, we should get someone to come around with a semi, load the homeless scum into it like stinking sardines and drive them out to the Mojave. Dump ‘em there in the dead of night blindfolded and drive away. Period. End of story.”
“Next time one of those wussies heckles you, just pop ‘em one. No. They protect scum, they should be treated like scum. It doesn’t matter if they make money sucking on the government tit or if there Wolfgang frigging *#!%$!. Time is running short.”
Late last year when the controversy was raging over overnight camping on Venice streets SnakePilskin posted that comment on the Yo! Venice! website.
It is clearly inflammatory, vulgar, hate-filled and espouses violence.
Thanks to a lawsuit and the power of the California Public Records Act, the Venice Stakeholders Association has exposed who SnakePilskin really is.
None other than mayoral aide Jim Bickhart, deputy transportation director, who was engaging in a political dirty trick in his official capacity to undermine the credibility of those who wanted camping restrictions and found themselves at war with others in the community, especially the Venice Neighborhood Council.
So what did the mayor punish Bickhart? Was he fired? Did somebody pop ‘em one?
Hardly, not Antonio’s way, not for a favored staff aide. He might fire general managers for trying to do a good job or have henchman Jeff Carr browbeat them into submission.
Here’s excerpts of Deputy Mayor Jaime de la Vega’s disciplinary memo to Bickhart which was turned over to Venice Stakeholders after it sued last month:
“This memo serves ias formal notice that you are being disciplined and placed on unpaid administrative leave for one week (five work days), beginning Tuesday, December 7, 2010 and ending Monday, December 13, 2010.
“This memorandum: shall be placed in your confidential personnel file, except as noted below ..
“If you continue to serve the Office of the Mayor and are not subject to any other discipline, this memorandum will be removed from your confidential personnel file no later than June 30, 2013.”
Oh yeah, Bickhart was told to stay out of land use or other issues involving Venice unless he was specifically told to do so, which still leaves him in position to engage in dirty tricks in everyone else’s neighborhood.
