Advertisements for Myself: Guest Commentary on NBC’s ‘The Filter with Fred Roggin’

The Filter with Fred Roggin, NBC’s innovative news and commentary show is back on the air as part of the network’s statewide programming on its digital channels. I’ve been a regular guest on The Filter since its inception nearly two years ago. Here’s the segment from tonight’s 6:30 p.m. broadcast on Time Warner Digital Channel 225, Cox Channel 804, Charter Channel 304, Verizon FIOS Channel 460.

So Ron, did it ever occur to you that there are more than a few LA residents that are NOT in the Time-Warner Cable franchise area? Why do you only publish program info for the TWC audience – wouldn’t you like to have some of the rest of us watch you also?

    Enjoyed it immensely.

Yeah Ron, women have more courage and honesty then men. We need more in power but not the Wendy Gruels who speak up only when they want the next promotion.

About 2:30 AM Kevin was talking with a man named “Duke”. Thursday night is not your night.
But he sounded exactly like you. Was he you?

Ron- Be sure to mention that SB 286 (Rod Wright) would “reform” CRAs to allow their continued raping and pillage of the urban landform. Next Wednesday, the City Council will consider a recommendation that it SUPPORT Wright’s bill. So, you know preserves the status quo. Sell out of the Legislature to the CRA thugs and developer rapists.

First of all, Ron, thank you for editing your notes above to include other than TWC’s coverage info.
Having watched Mr. Roggins’ show, I ask: So Arnold, a private citizen, fathered a child by someone other than his wife. So what! It happens all the time – I believe one of our former Presidents allegedly had a similar situation (hint Grover Cleveland – before he was elected to office). At least this woman hasn’t applied for welfare so that we taxpayers have to pay for his folly.
Why don’t you and Mr. Roggins spend some time discussing/reporting on the air about the ongoing graft and corruption in the LA City Council and the Mayor’s office – those people are stealing our money each and every day, yet the local media continue to look the other way. If the Times and Channel 4 spend as much time reporting on the City of LA’s problems as they did on the City of Bell, which is a mere wide-spot on the road, then some changes might occur.
And Janice Hahn, after stealing as much as she can from the City of LA, now wants to go to Washington where she can steal big time! Where’s the media coverage of her record and misdeeds? Yes, she worked hard to clean up the day-to-day activities at the Port, but she voted yes on every give-away to the downtown developers, the performance cliques, the contract labor hired to do work that City employees are qualified to do, sending a low-rider exhibit to Mexico, failing to enforce collection of outstanding parking structure income (MILLIONS$$$! – almost enough to balance the budget) owed to the City, and on and on the list goes (ask her how many Gold Card her staff has and uses)…..
I believe that Arnold only took a $1/year salary while governor – would Ms. Hahn accept that wage?
