Why in the world would anyone want to hear the public officials opinion of how this will affect local government? These are the idiots who didn’t see a thing coming and made all the wrong predictions and were wrong every step of the way.
So again, why should I listen to these fool? Am I supposed to be excited cause some greedy and corrupt elected officials are campaigning for office and are using you as a tool, Ron?

Let us know if their solution will be anything else other than cut in services and higher taxes.

Sorry but what a complete waste of time.Support what you do Ron, but anyone who has nothing better to do but listen to these incompetent, leaderless fools who got the city and county in this financial crisis to begin with is just as dumb as they are. Now, if you had real leaders who had a vision and solutions then it may be worth it to go. This has to be a joke. Anyone who goes is just giving these morons a plateau to lie and make excuses for their failure

Compromised vision-less political hacks looking for their next move up.

You tell US about it on the Day of the event?
That’s because you wouldn’t want a hoard of local slaves/valley residents running up to the Braemar Country Club to tell these crooks how WE feel about their “ideas.”
Ron Kaye is another Insider/elitist who poses as a commoner. How about the 7% rate hike The Gas Company (Sempra) is seeking before the PUC? How about the 22% DWP rate hikes proposed WITHOUT A RATEPAYER ADVOCATE seated?
Ron’s too busy having parties with Zev, DummyZine, Wendy the Goldcard Gruel, and probably Kevin James in tow to concern himself about a plan to stop this class warfare.
Nope, we’ll just keep getting the bills and paying more, and more, and more, until the day comes, like a friend of mine today who lives in the Valley that she’s going to file BANKRUPTCY PAPERS! The criminals who run the show here locally are KILLING BUSINESSES AND DESTROYING HOMEOWNERS, yet the parties just go on and on.
Thanks for the (lack of) notice of the meeting of the local crooks.

    I won’t be there-sorry.
Would someone ask this question if the opportunity arises?
-Given that our elected officials vote the wishes of their donors, often forgetting that there’s an entire city that they serve, do you agree that a statewide campaign should take place abolishing campaign financing-that all campaigns should only be run by existing funds (presently used as matching funds) only-that, while organizations and corporations can endorse, they cannot send out mailers or fund tv commercials-that debates will be more frequent- etc, etc?

  11. Progressive says:

Zine could’nt write a parking ticket let alone be a City Controller. We need a Professional Controller No elected Officals, especially former City Councils who can barely balance a check book

  12. Observer in Woodland Hlls says:

Wayne, nice comment. Wait till the day of the event to promote it. Way to generate momentum, right? But give Ron a break. He’s having fun. And that’s what it’s all about. He’s the official You’ve heard of Uncle Tom. L.A. has Uncle Ron.
