A Man for All Seasons, All Races, All Religions — or Is Eric Garcetti Just Confused About Who He Is?

The City Council on Friday — just before savaging the voting rights of African-Americans, Koreans and other Asian-Pacific Islanders along with just about everybody else — celebrated Nowruz, the  Persian New Year, and St. Patrick’s Day.

The Nowruz event, strangely was led  by the head of the LA Convention Center Pouria  Abbassi as if there were no Persians in the private sector available to participate and emceed by well-know Iranian-leaning Tony Cardenas who upstaged the festivities as his colleagues lavished praise for his looming elevation to Member of Congress where he will share space on the backbench with Janice Hahn if she can win re-election.

Even more exciting was Tom LaBonge’s exhilarating homage to his Irish ancestry that brought out the Irish blood of Eric Garcetti who has conveniently emerged as an Italian, Jewish, Mexican and now full-blooded Irishman in time for the mayor’s race.

The only thing missing is that he reveals himself to also be a woman to split the feminist vote with Wendy Greuel.

The 03/16/12 council meeting was frightening-horrific…
the obsequious-presumptuous “coronation” of tony cardenas as next congressman for newly created Latino district….it was nausea inducing…
he needs gerrymandered districts to get elected to any position because Latinos especially understand how cardenas’ race-crazed corrupted mind operates….
Then the Persians, so happy to celebrate new year in cardenas’ district….
Someone please fact-check cardenas’ assertions that all the previous council members
would not embrace Persian new year…..as if before cardenas, Persians were denied an opportunity to celebrate their cultural traditions….?
The Persians understand: the quality of life in cardenas’ district CD6 is hellish,
they know there is no hope for improving your life…..in cardenas’ CD6
organized crime is the only economic sector, extralegal enterprises are welcomed….
LAPD practices a “law & order is meaningless-minimal enforcement” policy…
    B&S officials have a “scorched-earth-targeted-neglect-code enforcement” policy…
The Persians know, party there for a day but never consider living there….

Will we ever get rid of these power-crazed, but useless, people?

By now, maybe the voters are aware and will vote them out. Cardenas
    is not qualified.

Comment 2-I am starting to question the ballot counting process. Yes, it’s on the conspiracy side of thinking. But, when I think of past elections where so many seem to hate the very person that won, it just makes me wonder. Either the majority of voters do not take the time to learn about the candidates and just vote for the picture they receive the most in the mail or something is wrong in the clerk’s office.

If it’s because the one with the most pictures is the one that wins, it’s all the more reason campaign donations (and PAC ads) must be eliminated completely. Until then, there is no hope.

Absolutely. The only way a voter can guarantee his vote is counted
in these woeful times is to go to the polls and vote on their machine.

This brilliant idea of having everybody sign up to vote absentee is a loser.

It also a lie, I decided several years ago. The results show that.

Yes, Eric is one confused person. Confused about so many things. I imagine that confusion will come out in the race for Mayor. Bye bye, Eric. You have been a big disappointment.

You mentioned that maybe something is wrong in the City Clerk’s Office. The Clerk’s Office is ruled by the Spring Street Horse Shoe and will create some mistakes and “I forgots” that will ultimately produce the results wanted. Please review the two links below:

The Koretz Vahedi election was a situation the Horse Shoe wanted to control. There was and is, no way the Council wanted a legitimate Neighborhood Council supported candidate to win. So . . . . some mistakes occurred and a couple of “I forgots” happened and quite a few regular voters didn’t/or couldn’t vote. Game over . . . . Koretz wins.

A re-located Sacramento Assemblymen fits perfectly in the Horse Shoe. For example: last Friday the 16th of March, during the re-districting issue, Councilman Koretz did NOT UTTER ONE WORD in support of the hundreds of citizens/speakers regarding the questionable doings of the Commission. Couldn’t he have requested some more negotiations/reviews, the deadline isn’t until June 30th?

Mr. President Wesson, how do you want me to vote on this? Yea Yea Sir.

Would Mr. Vahedi have done the same? We’ll never know.

      Mr. Vahedi,
      Please move into CD6.
If Cardenas is elected to congress this year (G-d forbid), CD6 will have election.
We would vote for you and you would win.
